The department of neuroanesthesia and intensive care has been functional since December 2000.It presently has 4 full time consultants who share the responsibility of running the preanesthetic clinic ,acute and chronic pain services in addition to providing anesthesia services for various operations and interventional neuroradiology.The neurointensive care unit is also run by the department of anesthesia.
